Job description

Reporting to the Sorting Department Manager, you will ensure the quality of the sorting and inspection of tiles coming off the production line. You will supervise and support the sorting staff to guarantee a reliable, compliant, and efficient service.

Your main responsibilities

✔ Triage coordination

  • Organize schedules and distribute tasks among triage agents
  • To train and support staff in developing their skills.
  • Maintain a positive and effective team dynamic.

✔ Quality control

  • Determine the shades and tones of the tiles according to the reference materials (tile library, sample tiles).
  • Address the anomalies and inform the relevant authorities.
  • Provide sorting instructions and ensure additional visual checks.

✔ Operational monitoring

  • Participate in production monitoring with the Head of Department.
  • Manage consumables and contribute to inventories.
  • Report any incident that could impact quality or safety.

Desired profile

  • Experience in industry or quality control preferred.
  • Rigour, attention to detail, responsiveness.
  • Team spirit and ability to communicate clearly.
  • Autonomy and a taste for fieldwork.
